OUR STORY

On April 4, 2014, we lost Elana after a long courageous battle with Breast Cancer. While watching our mother’s fight, we realized the importance of looking and feeling good and how it contributed to the battle. 

Each and every day, we would have people come up and say, “I didn’t even know Elana was sick.”  This was because our mom always made sure that she still made time to look her best, even if she wasn’t feeling up to it. Whether she was going to a party, to work, to treatment, or to a doctor's appointment she always took the extra time to get ready.  We never understood it until she was gone, and it clicked. It was her own way of not seeing the external effects of cancer.

Our goal is to be able to help women who are facing this battle look and feel their best by providing a day of pampering. A day to pick out a new wig and receive a consultation on us. Get a manicure and pedicure, maybe a massage, or indulge in a facial treatment. We also support post-mastectomy services for women after surgery.  Through our partners and the generous donations we receive – we will be taking those funds and providing these special days of pampering to those who most deserve it.

Anyone can nominate a woman who is deserving or in need of this service. She will be awarded (based on availability) a gift card to a partner salon for a special day away from the medical appointments, treatments, and stress that this disease brings with it.

We hope that this day will be a time to slip away and enjoy life’s “Blessings” and we would like to share them with you in Elana’s honor.
